Uncommon Hard Seltzer is a brand that produces alcoholic beverages. Their drinks are unique in that they are infused with flowers and other natural elements, producing a nice, refreshing taste. The flowers on the cans are not only shown because they are included in the ingredients list, but they also have a deeper meaning. The different flowers indicate uniqueness and beauty of all forms. The goal is to radiate positivity and encourage everyone to accept that they are different, which is where the name “Uncommon” comes from. Ultimately, Uncommon Seltzer wants to make people feel good and not only comfortable with who they are, but also embrace their unique quirks with confidence. The underlying reason for this concept is based on the topic of mental health and wellbeing, because it is a very common issue today.

 

The style of the cans are cheerful and uplifting, from the bright and broad color palette to the stylized serif typeface. Each drink has its own unique flower, based on the flavor and ingredients.   There are three different flowers for the three different flavors. Flowers come in many forms which goes with my concept of embracing the unique qualities of all different people. Additionally, on each can, there is one flower that is a different color than the rest. This flower pops out from the rest, which is supposed to indicate you. You being the customer who is drinking it. It is calling on you to embrace your differences and who you are.
